Ultisol soils i s a kind that experiences problems due to high acidity and Al saturation, low nutrient, organic matter content, are sensitive erosion. Therefore, alternative efforts need be made overcome this, one of which is using Frass fertilizer from Black Soldier Fly fly larvae. the result bioconversion as by-product rearing BSF larvae contains large number nutrients useful for plants also problem soil. The purpose this research knowing effect giving extent can replace NPK upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) on experiment was arranged in factorial completely randomized design consisting 2 factors 3 replications Factor A total dose; control, 10% Frass, 20%, 30% B dose fertilizer: 100% positive control (according recommendations), 75%, 50%, 25%. results showed application improve physical chemical properties soil, increase grain weight 100 seeds. combination with 25% had significant increasing chlorophyll content leaves when compared doses 20% all combinations NPK.
